    ABOUT THE STAMP:
The stamp is composed by the photo of Guilherme Bonini and the logo of the 200 Years of Araraquara, created by the designer Eduardo Rodrigues da Silva, both winners of the “Araraquara 200 Anos” Contest. The photography highlights the Voluntários da Pátria Street, also known as Rua 5 and, more recently as Boulevard dos Oitis, is one of the Araraquara’s rare public spaces that preserves expressive characteristics of its original design. Paved in the early years of the 20th century, it preserves the carriage way parallelepipeds. About 40% of the sidewalks are covered with irregularly shaped pink sandstone - part of them with paleontological traces from the Araraquara region - and flanked by centenarians trees, brought from Rio de Janeiro in 1911, whose leafy canopies form a Green Tunnel in the heart of the city. Protected by municipal law, this street is a strong affective reference for the local population, having already been established as attractive spot for the tourists and visitors of Araraquara. Photography and graphic computing techniques were used.
