Oliver 2268 single surface planer

Description

Selling my Oliver 2268 single surface planer. I am retiring and selling most of my machines. I purchased this about 5 years ago after a long search for one that had all the factory options but without the carbide insert head. ( they are way overrated for a machine of this size.  This is a 301/4”wide machine ( 4 knife cutter head) and will plane wood that is 8” tall. This is a 20 HP belt drive machine with a 1-3 HP power raise and lower motor. The 5” diameter feed rollers are powered by a 2 HP motor. ( 20 - 60 FPM). Sectional chip breaker with 18. 2” sections. Has internal knife grinder with motor ( 110colt). Machine is wired for 220volt three phase power can be switched to 440 volt if desired  there is a 7” dust collector port that is not shown in the pictures. I have all new hand wheels for this that I have not get installed yet. This is a extremely nice planer. Not used that much in its life as it was originally sold to a police station ( yes you heard that right). This will handle anything you can feed it without bogging down this ias a 30-1-4. X 50-1/4” cast iron table. Has the rare micro adjustable power feed rollers.
Buyer handles all freight arrangements and shipping costs. This will have to be moved by a rigging company as it is too heavy for a truck with a normal pallet jack. Let’s talk.
